Job Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced GeM Portal Executive with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience managing operations on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Portal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for product listing, bid/tender participation, order management, and overall compliance with GeM norms. This role requires sound knowledge of procurement processes, government sales, and excellent coordination skills.
- Key Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end operations on the GeM Portal.
- Create and update product/service catalogs on the portal with accurate specifications and pricing.
- Monitor and respond to tenders and bids on a daily basis.
- Prepare required documentation for bid submission, including compliance and technical documents.
- Coordinate with internal departments (sales, accounts, logistics) for smooth execution of orders received through GeM.
- Track and manage purchase orders, timely dispatches, and upload of invoices/delivery challans.
- Ensure compliance with GeM rules, terms, and conditions.
- Handle vendor assessment and registration processes as required.
- Maintain records of bids, tenders, and contracts for audit and reporting purposes.
- Act as the single point of contact for all issues and communications related to GeM.
- Requirements:Graduate in any discipline (Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or related field preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience working with the GeM portal.
- Familiarity with public procurement guidelines and government tendering processes.
- Strong documentation and coordination skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Preferred Skills:Experience in dealing with government clients or public sector procurement.
- Knowledge of e-tendering platforms in addition to GeM.
- Basic understanding of taxation and billing (GST, TDS, etc.).
