Experience profile:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented GeM Portal Liaisoning Officer with hands-on experience in government e-procurement through the GeM (Government e-Marketplace) portal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Vendor Registrations, bidding/tender participation, and end-to-end coordination with government departments.

Educational qualification: Graduate / Post Graduate with minimum 10+ years of experience in relevant field.

Role Description:

  • Participate in bidding, reverse auctions and tendering processes.
  • Liaise with government departments and clients for order follow-ups and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all GeM guidelines and government procurement policies.
  • Track tenders/RFPs floated on the GeM portal relevant to company offerings.
  • Coordinate internally with sales, legal, and logistics teams to ensure timely submissions and deliveries.
  • Handle grievances, disputes, and escalations related to GeM orders or listings.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong understanding of GeM rules, GFR (General Financial Rules), and public procurement norms.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in IT related software projects will an added advantage.
