Job Description
Job Summary
Managing computer networks, telecommunications systems and other electronic support systems related to the company operations. Coordinating, planning, and leading computer-related activities in the organization. Helping to determine the IT needs of an organization and are responsible for implementing computer systems to fulfil the organization's information systems requirements. To manage the other IT team members, working with them to research and implement strategic tech solutions to any issues that arise for the smooth running of the company’s information technology.
Job Responsibilities  
  • Manage information technology and computer systems.
  • Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
  • Manage IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance.
  • Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
  • Audit systems and assess their outcomes.
  • Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
  • Handle annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience as an IT Manager.
  • Experience as an IT Manager from the FMCG, Manufacturing and Pharmaceutical Industries is an added advantage.
  • Should have experience being part of a Functional leadership team.
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems.
  • Expertise in data Centre management and data governance.
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.
  • Ability to manage personnel.

Requirements
