What you become a part of:


As the Head of Enterprise Applications, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of our enterprise applications, with a primary focus on Microsoft Business Central, SAP S4/HANA, SFA and CRM solutions.


What to expect:


System Implementation and Management:

  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and customization of Manufacturing, Planning and Quality, and Supply Chain process areas in SAP S4/HANA across business units in India and Africa.
  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and customization of Microsoft Business Central, SFA, CRM and other business applications.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize the performance, scalability, and security of business applications.
  • Interact with and manage key stakeholders globally to ensure seamless business execution and drive enhanced value from ERP and other IT solutions through process standardization and integration.
  • Identify and implement best practices to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage data quality and data governance within the enterprise applications.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement integration solutions with other business-critical systems.
  • Evaluate and drive adoption of new technologies (like IoT, Industry 4.0, MES, etc.) in Manufacturing processes.


Team Management:

  • Recruit train, and mentor a team of skilled professionals responsible for supporting and maintaining enterprise applications.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for the team and conduct performance evaluations regularly.


Vendor Management:

  • Collaborate with external vendors and consultants to optimize the performance and functionality of enterprise applications.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and service level agreements.


Project Management:

  • Define project scope, timelines, and budgets for enterprise application projects.
  • Monitor project progress, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure successful project delivery.


Business Process Optimization:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation using enterprise applications.
  • Ensure that enterprise applications support and enhance critical business processes.


Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the IT budget for enterprise applications, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Optimize resource allocation and staffing to support project demands and operational needs.


Essential education, experience and skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Total 15+ years’ experience in design, development, implementation, and support of Business Applications.
  • 8 years of SAP IT experience (4 or more end to end SAP implementations as a module lead or process owner and 2 or more SAP support projects).
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Manufacturing and Quality Management, and Supply Chain processes, preferably in Pharma or Manufacturing domains.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP PP, QM and MM (including configuration) and hands-on experience in SAP including integration with other modules.
  • Experience of managing POS solutions in Retail environment will be an added advantage.
  • Relevant certifications in Microsoft Business Central and SAP S4/HANA, and Project management (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
  • SAP PP or SAP MM certification is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Experience working cross-culturally with diverse colleagues across multiple countries.
  • Should be flexible to work in Africa time zones.
