Role Overview:

We are opening a new office in Chennai and are looking for a Senior HR Generalist who can seamlessly manage HR strategy, recruitment, employee engagement, compliance, and administrative functions. This role combines people operations with workplace management, ensuring both our employees and infrastructure are set up for success. What You'll Do:

HR Strategy & People Operations

  • Lead end-to-end talent acquisition, leveraging AI-powered hiring tools and modern sourcing strategies.
  • Manage the employee lifecycle: onboarding, engagement, performance reviews, and exits.
  • Design and implement employee engagement, retention, and performance management frameworks.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for employee relations, conflict management, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Ensure all HR policies are compliant with Indian labor laws and aligned with company values.
  • Conduct HR data analytics and reporting to support leadership with data-driven decisions.
  • Identify skill gaps and lead L&D programs for continuous workforce development.

Admin & Workplace Management

  • Support in setting up the new Chennai office, including location finalization, vendor negotiation, and infrastructure readiness.
  • Oversee day-to-day office management, including facilities, vendor relations, office supplies, and security protocols.
  • Coordinate office logistics, including seating, IT support (with TechOps), travel arrangements, and visitor management.
  • Manage statutory compliance records, audits, and process documentation.
  • Ensure a smooth, professional, and culture-driven workplace environment.

What Makes You a Great Fit?

  • 5+ years of experience in HR generalist roles with exposure to HR strategy and admin oversight.
  • Proven background in talent acquisition, HR operations, and employee relations.
  • Experience handling administrative and facilities management, especially in new office setups.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related (MBA/PGDM preferred).
  • Hands-on proficiency in HRMS platforms, ATS, and AI-powered recruitment tools.
  • Thorough understanding of Indian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-style environment.
