Role Overview :

We are looking for a seasoned Technical Delivery Manager with a strong background in Java and Cloud technologies to lead and oversee the successful delivery of projects in an offshore service delivery model. This role will act as the primary interface between account management, delivery teams, and technical squads, ensuring seamless collaboration and exceptional project outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex technical projects, driving high performance across globally distributed teams, and maintaining client satisfaction through excellent stakeholder management.


Key Responsibilities :


Delivery Management :

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of Java- and Cloud-based technology projects, ensuring they meet time, budget, and quality goals.
  • Define and manage project plans, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with client expectations and business objectives.
  • Monitor project performance, ensuring risks are proactively identified and mitigated.
  • Maintain project documentation and provide actionable insights through detailed reporting and metrics.


Stakeholder Engagement :

  • Act as the central point of contact for account managers, clients, and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and solutions to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaborate with account management to identify opportunities for additional services or solutions to address client needs.


Technical Leadership :

  • Leverage expertise in Java and Cloud technologies to guide technical teams in architecting and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
  • Review technical designs and ensure adherence to best practices, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest Java and Cloud trends, bringing innovative solutions to client challenges.


Offshore Service Delivery :

  • Manage and optimize the performance of offshore teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with onshore stakeholders.
  • Implement and refine processes for efficient offshore delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes and seamless integration with global teams.
  • Address cultural, time zone, and communication challenges to maintain team cohesion and productivity.


Key Skills & Qualifications :

  • Proven record of delivering large scale IT programs at a regional or global level
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years managing the delivery of complex technical projects.
  • Strong expertise in Java (Spring, Hibernate, etc.) and Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Strong experience in Microservices, Devops and Design Patterns
  • Proven experience in offshore delivery models and distributed team management.
  • Effective planning and prioritization skills, with impeccable time management and multitasking abilities.


Leadership : Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.

Communication : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience engaging clients and senior stakeholders.

Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to challenges
