Role & responsibilities
ADF Foods Ltd., a leading name in the packaged food industry, is seeking a seasoned professional for the role of General Manager Sales (National Sales Head, India). The ideal candidate will bring 1520 years of progressive sales leadership experience in the food sector, with a proven track record in driving growth across D2C/E-Commerce, Modern Trade, and Food Service channels.
This leadership role involves developing and executing national sales strategies, preparing business budgets, establishing robust distribution networks, and leading large-scale negotiations with key accounts and distributors to safeguard profitability. The incumbent will be responsible for competition benchmarking, channel expansion, product lifecycle management, and inventory planning to ensure sustainable growth.
The role also requires close collaboration with marketing teams to execute impactful promotional strategies, leveraging both online and offline platforms to strengthen brand presence. Additionally, the position demands strong people management skills setting targets, mentoring teams, and ensuring performance delivery in alignment with organizational objectives.
Preferred candidate profile
- MBA in Marketing (Full-time) from a reputed institution.
- Strong background in high-growth food / FMCG companies (Rs. 50–200 Cr revenue range preferred).
- Deep expertise in sales strategy, P&L management, negotiations, and channel development.
- Ability to identify market "sweet spots" through data-driven insights and deliver exponential growth.
- Experience in handling both domestic best practices to replicate successful business models in India.
