Pinkvilla is seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Sales Head to lead our sales team. As the National Sales Head, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key client relationships, and developing strategic sales initiatives to expand our market share.
Based in: Mumbai, India.
What do you need to do? (Role and Responsibilities)
- Sales Strategy and Revenue Generation:
· Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration.
· Identify new business opportunities and lead the sales team in acquiring new clients.
· Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and effectively manage the sales cycle.
- Client Relationship Management:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, advertising agencies, and media buyers.
· Understand client needs and provide tailored advertising solutions to meet their objectives.
· Negotiate and close deals with clients to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
- Team Leadership and Management:
· Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
· Provide guidance, coaching, and support to the sales team to enhance their performance.
· Conduct regular performance reviews, set targets, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Market Analysis and Reporting:
· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for business growth.
· Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to the senior management team.
· Make recommendations for improvements in sales strategies and processes based on market insights.
- Collaboration and Cross-functional Coordination:
· Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, editorial, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of advertising campaigns.
· Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and sales collateral.
· Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate invoicing and timely collection of payments.
Who could you be? Background and Experience:
● Master's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
● 15+ years' experience of Digital sales & Branded Content.
● Experience working in Digital Media & Entertainment Industry.
● Strong understanding of the Indian digital media landscape and advertising trends.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
● Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
● Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
● Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market insights.
● Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office suite.
