POSITION SUMMARYPerforms comprehensive sales activities and oversees Key account management operations, with an emphasis on sales volume and customer growth. Responsibilities may include leading sales activities, implementing sales and related business strategies, and developing relationships with all levels of site management.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Develops contacts and relationships with new and existing customers to sell products, introduce new or alternative product lines, and grow sales; receives direction in limited circumstances.Ensures retention of existing business by developing working relationships with all levels of site-management and performs related account management activities; utilizes technical service or other sales personnel to perform day to day account management activities when appropriate.Develops sales and related business strategies on a regional level with little oversight; sales area is generally large in complexity and scope, has a considerable sales volume, and includes several business segments.Responds to questions and concerns from customers, applies a thorough understanding of product lines and related application methods, and ensures customer satisfaction; provides direction to other personnel when required.Supervises staff to include hiring, training, evaluating performance, providing compensation recommendations, and determining disciplinary actions when necessary.Serves as a lead to technical service representatives, sales personnel, or other staff to perform account maintenance activities, which includes prioritizing and assigning work and determining work direction.Performs other duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:10-15 years of Sales experience out of which at least 7-9 years of experience in B2B sales within the paint and/or coatings industry.EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or BE/ or equivalent education and experience.JOB LOCATION:Bangalore, IndiaSKILL REQUIREMENTS:Applying advanced sales and related business principles and practices.Developing and implementing sales and related business strategies.Applying thorough industry specific sales and technical concepts.Developing and strengthening relationships with customers and contacts.Giving sales and industry presentations.Working with all levels of management.Supervising and evaluating employees.Prioritizing and assigning work.PC skills; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); and other applications as required.Communicating with co-workers to provide and receive direction.***Please be aware that you can apply for any internal job offer after minimum one year in current role having previously informed your manager.Please read the
