Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven International Sales Manager to lead B2B sales initiatives in the Africa region. This is a quota-carrying, management-level role responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic partner management, market penetration, and account expansion. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software solution sales, particularly in ITSM, AIOps, or NMS, with a proven ability to operate effectively in international markets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Own and drive the entire sales cycle for the assigned Africa territory, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Develop and execute territory-specific go-to-market (GTM) plans to achieve business objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
Partner & Account Management
- Build, manage, and strengthen long-term relationships with key decision-makers, partners, and resellers.
- Collaborate with regional distributors to develop pipelines, close deals, and drive revenue.
- Negotiate contracts and commercial terms to secure high-value partnerships.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Presales, Product, Marketing, and Support teams to ensure solution alignment and customer success.
- Provide market intelligence and feedback to product and marketing teams for continuous improvement.
Performance & Reporting
- Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and CRM data.
- Prepare regular business reviews and performance reports for management.
Travel & Representation
- Represent Motadata in international business meetings, trade shows, and industry events (as required).
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in B2B software sales, including international/Africa markets.
- Strong background in selling enterprise IT solutions (ITSM, NMS, AIOps preferred).
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales quotas.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to build trust at C-level.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and virtual sales platforms.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally as per business requirements.
