Role description:

  1. Lead the development and execution of the national distribution network for the brand.
  2. Evaluate and finalize distributor applications, ensuring a robust selection process.
  3. Ensure optimal product placement in leading retail outlets, and identify growth opportunities with key regional and national retail chains.
  4. Oversee marketing distribution channels to maximize reach and efficiency.
  5. Foster collaboration across all four operational zones, ensuring clear communication and a unified team approach.
  6. Develop and implement marketing and distribution strategies to position the brand as the top choice for distributors and retailers.
  7. Drive and support the successful execution of sales strategies and operational systems.
  8. Set clear performance goals for the team, ensuring accountability and achievement of targets.
  9. Strengthen team performance by deploying sales personnel strategically across market segments and continuously reviewing key performance metrics to align results with objectives.
  10. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of competitor pricing and strategies, providing actionable insights to enhance the brand’s competitive edge.

Qualifications/Experience:

  1. Extensive Leadership Experience: Over 20 years of experience in sales and distribution marketing, including a minimum of 5 years in top management roles.
  2. Deep Domain Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of distribution sales principles and practices, with proven ability to mentor and coach teams for peak performance.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated success in fostering seamless collaboration across departments, particularly with marketing and operations teams, to achieve organizational goals.
  4. Team Development Expertise: Skilled in creating scalable frameworks for hiring, training, and mentoring sales teams, ensuring consistent performance and growth.
  5. Negotiation & Deal Closure: Strong aptitude for negotiating service agreements and successfully closing high-value deals.
