Role Overview:

As a Technical Presales Engineer at Tec Tigers, you will be the technical expert supporting our sales team by showcasing the value of our IT solutions, including Digital Workplace (DWP), IT Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity services. Your primary responsibility will be to bridge the gap between client needs and technical solutions, ensuring successful pre-sales engagements, solution presentations, and proposal development.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Consultation:

  • Act as the technical advisor for prospective clients, understanding their business challenges and proposing appropriate IT solutions.
  • Assess client environments to design tailored solutions involving DWP, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity.

Solution Design & Architecture:

  • Develop technical solutions and architectures based on customer requirements and industry best practices.
  • Prepare detailed solution documents, including system design, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications.

Presales Support:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to qualify leads and identify opportunities.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) sessions to stakeholders.

Proposal Development:

  • Create and deliver high-quality technical proposals, including RFP/RFI responses.
  • Provide accurate cost estimations, solution descriptions, and implementation timelines.

Cybersecurity & IT Infra Expertise:

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Design IT infrastructure solutions that encompass on-premises, cloud, and hybrid models.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams (delivery, R&D, and marketing) to align solutions with client needs.
  • Partner with technology vendors to leverage their solutions effectively in proposals.

Market Research & Trend Analysis:

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies in DWP, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve our technical offerings.

Training & Knowledge Sharing:

  • Train internal teams and customers on proposed solutions to ensure a smooth handoff post-sale.
  • Maintain knowledge repositories and solution templates for reuse across projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical presale, solution architect, or related role in IT services.
  • Hands-on experience in Digital Workplace solutions, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity tools.

Technical Expertise:

  • DWP: Microsoft 365, Teams, collaboration tools, and end-user computing solutions.
  • IT Infrastructure: Servers, networking, virtualization, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Cybersecurity: Endpoint protection, firewalls, SIEM tools, and vulnerability management.

Sales & Presales Skills:

  • Strong client engagement skills, including needs analysis and solution pitching.
  • Experience in preparing and delivering technical presentations and proposals.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Ability to explain complex technical solutions in simple terms to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Microsoft, AWS, or VMware certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
  • Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+).
