Overview:We are seeking a high-performance Head of Sales with deep experience in selling complex, technical, and industrial solutions to enterprise and government customers.This role requires an individual who has personally led sales, consistently delivered large targets, and then scaled sales teams from an early-stage base to a structured, high-performing organization.You will lead the national sales strategy, build a strong sales engine, and drive growth across industrial, infrastructure, and government accountswhile working closely with delivery to strengthen customer lifecycle management and account expansion.Key Responsibilities:Sales Leadership & Strategy:- Build and execute a national sales strategy aligned with company growth goals.- Identify high-value enterprise, industrial, and government opportunities.- Drive predictable revenue delivery with strong funnel management and sales discipline.Individual Sales Ownership:- Own and close strategic deals personally, especially with complex/technical requirements.- Manage government liaisoning, industry associations, and regulatory stakeholders.Team Building & Management:- Build and scale the sales team from early-stage to a structured unit (10+ people).- Coach and develop team members, enforce discipline, and install systematic processes.Customer Lifecycle & Account Growth:- Partner with delivery & customer success to drive adoption, renewals, upsells, and long-term account harvesting.- Develop a deep understanding of customer operations, value drivers, and ROI models.Mandatory Requirements (MUST HAVE):- 10-20 years of experience in B2B sales of complex, technical, or engineering solutions.- Strong experience selling to industrial and infrastructure customers.- Proven track record of individual sales success and hitting multi-year targets.- Experience building and leading sales teams (10+ people preferred).- Background in engineering/technical domains or selling into complex technical processes.- Comfortable with government liaisoning, compliance discussions, and long-cycle sales.- Highly structured, systematic, and process-driven approach to planning and leadership.Preferred Experience (BIG PLUS POINTS):- Direct experience in the water / wastewater / utilities / environmental technology sector.- Exposure across the entire customer lifecycle (sales + service + account management).- Experience in industries where account farming, renewals, long-term contracts, and recurring revenue are key.
