As a member of the OVH Cloud Sales team, the Senior Business Development Manager engage with local team to build up on success and also to Hunt for Big-logos on Partner channel, working along with Partner Manager. This position will be based in Bangalore.
Job Description:
- 50/50 split of BDM/Team Leading. Should have experience managing a team, the role will also have 50% channel partnering and bring new businesses plus people management
- Hunting - The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, developing growth strategies, and achieving sales targets. They will collaborate with internal teams to enhance the company's market position and contribute to overall business success.
- Team leading - Deliver success through empowerment and accountability and follow the Sales Playbook approach.
- Develop, and retain talent and build diverse teams; deliver results through teamwork, act as role model for OVHCloud values, coach and develop team for high performance and commit to performance management.
- Enable and empower team to influence customer decisions and ensure technical wins by streamlining processes and managing the flow of wins, leveraging deep knowledge of processes, aligning goals across solution areas and facilitates cross-selling with various workloads.
- Ensure teams meet targets and operational standards and maintain the health of metrics within the assigned territory while mentoring/coaching team on growing knowledge on sales or products and ensuring team completes training and obtains certifications as required.

- Should have experience managing a team, the role will also have 50% channel partnering and bring new businesses plus people management
Preferred candidate profile
- Proven track record of successful sales in the corporate environment, with at least 8-12 years of direct sales experience. Cloud/Infra experience is Bonus. Minimum 4 years of experience in people management.
- Strong understanding of Cloud, Infrastructure, Hosting, and IT solution selling.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively at C-level.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer-centric solutions.
- Great understanding of Sales Frameworks, methodologies and ability to coach and mentor individuals.
- A highly self-motivated individual who has a desire to exceed sales goals, while building a trusted relationship.
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- Can demonstrate examples of where they have successfully built and leveraged relationships with VAR's, MSP's, SI's to capture new opportunities.
- Be familiar with recognized sales frames like challenger sales, with a can do attitude.
