WHAT WILL YOU DO AT WHOLSUM FOODS?
Are you ready to shape the future of data analytics in a fast-paced startup environment? We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to build our central data analytics function. This function will report into the Head of our central Strategy and Innovation Team.
As the first hire for this function, you will get the opportunity to shape the future of data analytics at Wholsum Foods and define the strategic direction of our data analytics initiatives, drive data-driven decision-making, and make a significant impact on our business growth. This is an exciting role for a visionary leader who is passionate about leveraging data to unlock valuable insights and drive innovation
Responsibilities:
Prospecting
- Developing a comprehensive data base of current and prospective institutional customers and creating a system of contacting “Prospects” and Tracking the same. Lead reporting for the vertical.
New account acquisition & development
- Oversee sales pipeline - develop and execute strategies to grow business in the below verticals :
- Government institutions like CSD, CPC
- HORECA segments (preferably including schools)
- Travel and Travel retail
Key Account Management
- Developing and Implementing Account wise sales plan in addition to finalizing trade terms, Cross selling/upselling, ensuring ongoing orders and supplyOversee accounts receivables and debt collection, resolve all long outstanding debts along with the help of accounting and finance team
New product Introduction
- Creating and Implementing new product launch plan as per the business plan.
- Tracking Competition and new product launches to evaluate impact of various players in the market. Giving feedback about various competitive activities to the marketing team and products feedback to the R&D team
Pricing
- Release pricing norms regularly based on the agreed pricing strategy to drive margins.
- Evaluating information related to institutional sales, promotions, competition and market research.
Merchandising
- Develop commercially viable product propositions (using existing SF and Mille products and appropriate merchandise) for sales to various channels i.e. birthday party, corporates for Diwali/New Year/New employee packs etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree from a leading university
- MBA preferred.
- Proven track record in delivering B2B sales results.
- Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in HORECA/B2B sales - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong analytical focus
