About the position:

  • The Sales Head for Devices is responsible for leading and managing the sales function within the medical device industry.
This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, managing a sales team, and fostering strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders. The Sales Head plays a vital role in achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Roles and Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets for devices.
  • Set & achieve sales targets, develop sales forecasts, and monitor performance against goals.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities, target markets, and customer segments for devices.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective sales collateral, promotional materials, and sales campaigns.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers and partners.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in the device field.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in sales management within the medical device industry.
  • Strong understanding of medical devices, healthcare industry dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong negotiation and relationshipbuilding abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market data, sales trends, and financial metrics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Customerfocused approach with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with crossfunctional teams.
