Trade Head - MBO & Exhibition

Job Description:


As the Trade Head for Multi-Brand Outlets (MBOs) and Exhibition Handling, you will be responsible for spearheading our brand's presence and sales strategy.

Your role will involve a blend of strategic planning, relationship management, and operational execution to drive sales and brand visibility.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for multibrand outlets (MBOs) to achieve revenue targets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to set realistic sales targets and develop action plans to achieve them.

Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including MBO owners, retail partners, and exhibition organizers.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and agreements with partners to ensure optimal placement, visibility, and support for our brand.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all traderelated inquiries and issues, providing timely resolution and exceptional service.

Exhibition Planning and Execution:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute participation in exhibitions, trade shows, and other promotional events in Gurgaon.
  • Liaise with internal teams, including marketing, design, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of exhibition plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of each exhibition, gathering feedback and insights for continuous improvement.

Brand Representation:

  • Serve as the brand ambassador at trade events, effectively communicating our brand's values, vision, and product offerings.
  • Ensure that our brand is represented consistently and professionally across all touchpoints, including displays, signage, and promotional materials.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights, achievements, and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in trade sales, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of retail dynamics, including MBO operations and exhibition management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze data, and develop actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Flexibility to travel and work on weekends or evenings as needed.
