Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a global gotomarket strategy for cloud managed services and FinOps offerings, aligned with Center of Excellence goals, Amazon's overall business objectives, and AWS regional priorities. Leverage your global experience to navigate diverse markets and cultural nuances.
  • Collaborate with Global Delivery Center and regional sales teams in selling and delivering customizable, endtoend managed services with a strong focus on cost optimization and FinOps principles.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams and AWS representatives to identify and qualify new opportunities, develop compelling proposals, close deals, and drive sales growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across various customer segments, including Csuite executives, IT decisionmakers, and technical teams.
  • Partner with solution architects, technical specialists, and other internal teams to ensure successful delivery of hightouch, proactive managed services, exceeding customer expectations in terms of cost optimization, performance improvement, and security.
  • Monitor market trends, analyze competitor activity, and identify new growth opportunities within the cloud managed services and FinOps market.
  • Drive thought leadership and awareness for your solutions through presentations, workshops, and industry events, showcasing the value proposition of managed services and FinOps combined.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales pipeline, revenue growth, customer satisfaction, cost savings achieved for clients, and service delivery metrics.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with AWS teams at various levels, including managed service providers (MSPs), solution architects, and technical specialists.
  • Stay abreast of AWS product roadmap, managed service offerings, FinOps best practices, and industry trends in cloud cost optimization.
  • Represent the Center of Excellence at AWS events and industry conferences, actively promoting your managed services and FinOps expertise.

Requirements:
12+ years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of success in driving sales growth within the IT industry, preferably focused on selling and delivering cloud managed services or FinOps solutions.

  • Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, particularly AWS cloud services, managed service delivery frameworks, and FinOps principles.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a highperforming team.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Global experience and understanding of diverse business cultures is essential.
  • Deep analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for AWS and a commitment to customer success.
  • Strong relationshipbuilding skills and experience collaborating with partners e.g. AWS.
