
Area Sales Manager

Role Overview:
As a Sales Professional, you will play a key role in expanding our footprint across markets. You’ll develop and execute sales strategies, build lasting relationships with distributors and retailers, and drive strong revenue growth for the brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & implement sales strategies to meet and exceed business goals.
- Drive General Trade (GT) growth – distributor appointments, retail expansion & secondary sales.
- Identify and onboard new clients, distributors, and retail partners.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing customers.
- Conduct regular market visits to track performance and identify opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotions to maximize profitability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
- Monitor sales data, market trends, and competitor activities; prepare actionable reports.
Requirements:
- 5–6 years of proven experience in Sales / Business Development / Key Accounts, preferably in FMCG or Organic Foods.
- Strong knowledge of General Trade (GT) operations is a must.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead business in assigned territory.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, sales analytics & reporting.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and willing to travel as required.
