The HRBP will be a Senior, strategic Human Resources Business Partner and trusted advisor to the AXA XL India Business leaders. The successful candidate will partner with business leaders to manage the human capital agenda and its execution supporting the business strategies.

This role will report to the VP, Human Resources Business Partner for Enterprise Shared Services and serve as a key member of the AXA XL India HR Leadership team.

For this role, we need a high-energy collaborator to partner with our site leader for Gurgaon to support and enable our overall talent mission to build and engage a community of smart, innovative, motivated colleagues who have what it takes to achieve XL Catlin's goals.Summary of the position/team, etc.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

Serves as the primary HR point of contact for a headcount of 300+ colleagues. Workforce Planning - Forecasting talent and capability requirements required to execute the business strategy along with Business Leads. Performance Management: Partner with the business in executing end to end Performance Management cycle. Talent Management - Improve the level of talent in the organization by implementing retention techniques that result in minimal turnover of key talent and coaching or removing underperforming talent from the organization. Improve succession planning for critical positions for ensuring business continuity. Engagement- Strengthen and build the culture in a way that increases the commitment and performance of employees. Improve the organization's overall engagement through the establishment and delivery of action plans that address the key engagement drivers. HR projects- working on projects with business stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives. Contributes to the development of the change management strategy within the business to support the implementation of HR programs and initiatives. Manages HR programs within the business or function. Manage the complex quantitative and qualitative analyses of workforce data. Represents the needs of the business or function on an ongoing basis to maintain consistent plans between HR and the business or function in program implementation.

HR Experience: Minimum of 7 years of HR experience with a proven track record of collaboration, initiative, agility and innovation. Demonstrated experience working in a highly matrixed organizational structure. Industry Experience: Understanding of the insurance and reinsurance global markets and financial services a plus. Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret data and draw insights out of it. Mental Agility: Innovative thinker, willing to turn ideas on their head. Bright and can handle complex situations. Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration and presentation skills.
