Job Description:

As a Senior Data Quality Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and consistency of data throughout the organization.

You will spearhead efforts to establish robust data quality standards, processes, and governance frameworks, ensuring that data remains reliable and error-free.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with various teams to pinpoint data quality issues, implement necessary corrections, and foster a culture of continuous enhancement in data management procedures.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute data quality standards, protocols, and procedures to uphold data accuracy and coherence.
  • Define and uphold data quality metrics, KPIs, and SLAs to assess and supervise data quality performance effectively.
  • Lead evaluations and reviews to identify areas for betterment and prioritize corrective actions for enhanced data quality.
  • Work with stakeholders to construct data governance mechanisms and frameworks that uphold data integrity.
  • Utilize data quality tools and technologies to automate data profiling, cleansing, and monitoring workflows.
  • Create and manage data quality dashboards and reports to monitor crucial metrics and patterns.
  • Offer advice and assistance to business units on optimal practices, standards, and tools for data quality.
  • Lead interdisciplinary teams in resolving data quality challenges and conducting root cause analyses.
  • Set up data stewardship programs to designate ownership and responsibility for data quality organization-wide.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and leading practices in data quality management and propose innovative solutions as needed.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Over 9 years of experience in data management, with a minimum of 5 years in a data quality management capacity.
  • Demonstrated expertise in formulating and executing data quality standards, protocols, and procedures.
  • Sound grasp of data quality principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with data quality tools like Informatica Data Quality, Talend Data Quality, or equivalent platforms.
  • Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills, with a knack for dissecting complex datasets and pinpointing data quality issues.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, enabling effective engagement with stakeholders across all levels.
  • Proficiency in leading interdisciplinary teams and fostering agreement on data quality endeavors.
  • Past exposure to regulated sectors such as healthcare, finance, or pharmaceuticals is advantageous.
  • Pertinent certifications in data management or data quality (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional, Certified Information Quality Professional) are a plus.
