Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Data Governance expert with AWS knowledge. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring data integrity, quality, and security across our organization's data assets. As a data governance expert, your main responsibility will be to develop and implement data governance policies, procedures, and best practices for our AWS-based infrastructure.

You will work closely with various cross-functional teams, including data management, data engineering, and security teams, to establish a comprehensive data governance framework. Additionally, you will collaborate with key stakeholders and senior management to assess data governance needs, define data governance goals, and create strategies to achieve those goals.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in data governance and possess deep knowledge of AWS services and solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain data governance policies, standards, and procedures

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enforce data governance requirements

- Conduct regular assessments of data quality and implement corrective actions as needed

- Oversee data classification, data lineage, and data stewardship activities

- Create and maintain data catalogue to ensure easy discoverability and accessibility of data assets

- Implement and enforce data security and access controls in line with regulatory requirements

- Provide expertise and guidance on data governance best practices and industry trends

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field

- Proven experience in implementing and managing data governance frameworks in AWS environments

- In-depth knowledge of AWS data services, including AWS Glue, AWS Lake Formation, Amazon Redshift, and AWS IAM

- Experience with Reltio MDM is added advantage

- Strong understanding of data governance regulations.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
