performance of an assigned customer portfolio for a medium impact
client base in any size cluster/geographical area.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and be accountable for the forwarding segment. Pursue the Vision of Maersk to be an Integrator of Container logistics and work around digital products. Manage assigned customers and budget base – with a view of build a portfolio and business plan for the next 3 years. Develop customer value propositions for all appropriate business opportunities. Strive for consultative sales to distinguish market presence by effectively probing and identifying needs and suggesting solutions to help customers. Build a good understanding of target customers and the assigned account base (contact, commodities, trade lanes, type of business, contract information including exceptions and service requirements). Establish internal network in India cluster and globally to facilitate resolution of customer issues. Build understanding of all service offerings to be able to offer integrated solutions. Communicate significant trends, rate changes and policies to assigned accounts. Ensure Customer Relationship Management tools ) are updated on time and with high-quality data. Deliver client profitability as per budget. Ensure successful business onboarding and contract compliance. Responsibility for both contractual sales control and non-control which will vary from client to client, and for different products and services within the same client Manages assigned customers and budget base; pursues and secures business in line with the business objectives. Probes and identifies customer needs and provides solutions. Builds a good understanding of target customers and the assigned account
base. Communicates significant trends, rate changes and policies to assigned
accounts. Researches and understands the territory to identify and establish
business contacts with potential customers. Researches and analyses competitive and industry trends.

Who we are looking for:

Logistics work experience of around 3 to 5 years Ability to interact with senior stakeholders and build good engagement levels Should be able to be in the constant hunt for new business and ensure their movement through the sales cycle. You should have excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (both written and oral) Ability to work as a team Good knowledge of Air, LCL, warehousing, Ocean business You should possess enthusiasm, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. A self-starter, who can work with complex business solutions and work through ambiguity. In addition, you should have organizational and time management skills including multitasking, prioritizing, and the ability to plan work activities efficiently to meet deadlines.
