Asst. Business Development Manager- Europe
The Assistant Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence and driving revenue growth in European CMO and CDMO accounts.
Working closely with the Business Development Manager and cross-functional teams, the incumbent will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing order cycles, nurturing client relationships, and driving strategic initiatives to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
1) Support in Identify and prospect potential European CMO and CDMO accounts, including pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and contract manufacturing organizations.2) Help in Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand market share and drive revenue growth in European markets.
3)Maintain strong relationships with existing key decision-makers and stakeholders in existing accounts, including C-suite executives, procurement managers, and R&D leaders.
Executing orders of existing accounts and provide them with the best customer service in terms of executing the order cycle effectively.
4) Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, and marketing, to develop tailored solutions and proposals that meet client needs.5) Help leading contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract management activities to secure new business opportunities and maximize profitability.
6) Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive developments, and regulatory changes in the European pharmaceutical market to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
7) Prepare regular reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management, highlighting business development activities, pipeline status, and key performance metrics.
Qualifications and Skills:
1) Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
2) Minimum 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, with a focus on European/regulated markets.
3) Proven track record of successfully achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in branded generics or/and CMO and CDMO accounts.
4) Strong understanding of pharmaceutical operations and regulatory requirements in Europe.
5) Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
6)Strategic thinker with the ability to identify market opportunities, develop business strategies, and execute tactical plans to achieve objectives.
7) Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
8) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce preferred.
9) Well versed with travelling and open to travel, have strong social etiquettes (dining and talking) and ability to understand and appreciate different cultures and nationalities.
