Job Title: Business Head - Exhibition SalesLocation: NoidaDepartment: Sales / Events / ExhibitionsEmployment Type: Full-timePosition Summary:The Business Head of Exhibition Sales is responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy for all exhibitions and trade shows. This senior-level role involves overseeing the sales team, driving revenue growth, developing client relationships, and ensuring successful exhibitor participation. The Business Head will collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and event production teams to ensure the commercial success of exhibitions.Key Responsibilities:Sales Leadership & Strategy:Develop and execute the sales strategy for all exhibitions and trade shows.Set and achieve sales targets, budgets, and KPIs for the exhibition sales division.Lead, mentor, and grow the exhibition sales team, including sales managers and account executives.Business Development:Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities, including new clients, sectors, and markets.Build strategic relationships with key industry players, sponsors, exhibitors, and partners.Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote company exhibitions.Client & Stakeholder Management:Manage high-level exhibitor relationships and negotiate large-scale deals.Serve as the senior point of contact for key clients and strategic partnerships.Work closely with marketing and content teams to align exhibitor needs with event audiences.Operational Oversight:Collaborate with event operations teams to ensure smooth exhibitor onboarding and logistics.Monitor exhibitor satisfaction and drive improvements in exhibitor experience.Performance Analysis & Reporting:Analyse sales data and market trends to inform future strategies.Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on performance, forecasts, and risks.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.Minimum 10+ years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within exhibitions or large-scale events.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.Understanding of event operations, exhibitor needs, and industry trends.Key Competencies:Strategic thinking and executionLeadership and team developmentRelationship managementCommercial acumenExcellent communication and presentation skillsResults-driven mindsetPreferred Experience:International exhibition or trade show experienceSector knowledge in [e.G., healthcare, tech, manufacturing, etc.]Familiarity with digital and hybrid event models
