Regional Manager - Deposits (BFSI Only)


The Regional Head of Deposits will be responsible for leading and managing the deposit operations and strategies within their designated region. They will drive deposit growth, develop and implement deposit products and services, and ensure efficient deposit operations. The role requires a strong understanding of retail and corporate deposit products, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute deposit growth strategies to achieve regional deposit targets.

- Lead the development and implementation of deposit products and services tailored to the needs of retail and corporate customers.

- Drive customer acquisition and retention initiatives to grow the deposit base.

- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for deposit growth.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales teams, branch managers, and product development teams.

- Collaborate with marketing teams to design and execute marketing campaigns to promote deposit products.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies governing deposit operations.

- Implement risk management practices to safeguard deposit assets and mitigate deposit-related risks.

- Oversee deposit operations, including account opening, transaction processing, and customer service.

- Monitor deposit performance metrics and analyze trends to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

- Provide leadership and guidance to deposit teams within the region, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

- Drive cross-selling initiatives to promote other banking products and services to deposit customers.

- Represent the organization in external forums and industry events to enhance the bank's reputation and visibility in the market.
