Business Head - DTC Brand
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual for an Industry leading brand to lead and optimize our online retail platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance marketing, possess excellent data analytics skills, and be adept in logical reasoning. The qualified candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) businesses and a proven track record of driving growth and revenue. A deep understanding of store funnel metrics and an experimentation mindset are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute performance marketing strategies to increase customer acquisition, retention, and conversion rates.
2. Utilize data analytics to identify and measure key performance indicators, track trends, and uncover actionable insights.
3. Monitor and optimize the entire store funnel, including sessions, add to carts, and conversions, to drive sales and revenue growth.
4. Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement experiments, A/B tests, and conversion rate optimization initiatives to improve store performance.
5. Oversee the creation and execution of targeted email marketing campaigns, ensuring high delivery rates, open rates, and click-through rates.
6. Continuously analyze customer behavior, preferences, and trends to inform product selection, pricing, and promotional strategies.
7. Stay up to date with industry trends and competitors' strategies to identify new growth opportunities and ensure a competitive edge.
8. Lead a team of ecommerce professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the achievement of individual and team goals.
9. Maintain strong relationships with external partners, including digital agencies, consultants, and vendors, to enhance overall store performance.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) ecommerce businesses, with a proven track record of driving growth and revenue.
3. Extensive experience in performance marketing, with expertise in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns across various channels.
4. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, GA4, DB360) to drive data-driven decision-making.
5. Excellent logical reasoning skills with the ability to identify patterns, draw insights, and make data-backed recommendations.
6. Experience in leading and implementing A/B testing, experimentation, and conversion rate optimization initiatives.
7. Familiarity with Shopify platform and its ecosystem, along with proficiency in Shopify apps and tools.
8. Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
9. Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
