Amazon Music India is seeking an experienced leader to lead our Industry Partnerships & Strategic initiatives for the country. In this role, you will work closely with the IN Music Business Head and collaborate with Industry partners as well as our internal IN and global teams to provide the best music experience for our customers. As a key business leader, you will work closely with functions like Licensing, Marketing, Merchandising, Content Acquisition, and Operations. You will also play a key role in working globally with Amazon Music offices around the world.

Key job responsibilities

The scope for this senior leader includes the following:

· Develop and manage music industry partnerships and strategic/growth initiatives.

· Define frameworks and strategic approach to engage/partner with labels, talent agencies, and artists to improve and expand Amazon’s content offerings to customers.

· Develop customer and business models for growth and expansion in the IN market. Provide input to defining the customer experience and represent that to global and IN leadership.

· Partner with senior business and technology leaders within the global business org to develop project roadmaps, set priorities and deliver results for IN.

· Create an environment which motivates people to thrive in their expertise and deliver ambitious results.

· Develop and deliver industry and label initiatives, actionable plans and metrics determined by different inputs which drive performance.

· Create sustainable process improvements for Amazon Music leadership which drive year-over-year progress.

· Partner with colleagues across the globe to identify areas for collaboration and best practices.

· Align project scopes with local and international business leaders to ensure strategic objectives are met

The right candidate will:

· Have an entrepreneurial attitude, be highly analytical, and have a strong background in media and entertainment/digital business and content strategy

· They will bring a proven track record of delivering results both within and outside his/her organization, making data-driven decision, identifying and adding process improvements and advocating on behalf of customers.

· Have excellent business judgment to define priorities, goals and business requirements that are critical
