Senior SMB Account Executive

- Actively prospect and qualify new SMB customers within the India market through outbound sales efforts, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking events.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets, with a focus on acquiring new business and expanding existing accounts.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and solution demonstrations to understand customer requirements and position Zendeskâs products and services effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts, leveraging consultative selling techniques to drive value and ROI.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales Development Representatives, Sales Consultant, partners and Customer Success Managers, to ensure seamless customer onboarding and ongoing satisfaction.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities to effectively position Zendeskâs offerings and differentiate our value proposition.
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in SMB sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in software sales, preferably within the SaaS or technology industry.
- Strong hunter mentality with a demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and solutions effectively to diverse audiences.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach and a passion for driving customer success.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, results-driven environment while maintaining a high level of accountability and integrity.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in regional languages is a plus.
