Job Summary:

The Sales Head is responsible for leading the sales department at Agrovision Green Energy Pvt Ltd .

This role includes developing and executing sales strategies, driving business growth,

managing the sales team, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Sales Head will work closely with

senior management to align sales initiatives with the company’s overall goals and objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy &Execution:

o Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company’s business goals

and market demands.

o Identify growth opportunities, potential markets, and target clients to drive sales

performance.

o Lead the execution of sales plans, ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded.

2. Team Leadership & Development:

o Build, lead, and manage a high-performing sales team by providing coaching,

guidance, and motivation.

o Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear goals, and identify development

opportunities for the team.

o Recruit, onboard, and train new team members to ensure they are fully equipped to

succeed.

3. Revenue & Profit Growth:

o Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding

existing client relationships.

o Optimize sales processes to increase profitability while maintaining customer

satisfaction.

o Monitor sales performance metrics and recommend adjustments to meet or exceed

revenue targets.

4. Client Relationship Management:

o Cultivate strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster

long-term business growth.

o Ensure that the sales team provides exceptional customer service to maintain high

levels of client retention.


o Regularly meet with clients to gather feedback and understand their needs,

translating these into actionable sales strategies.


5. Sales Forecasting & Reporting:

o Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management.

o Track sales performance against targets and budgets, providing insights on trends,

risks, and opportunities.

o Analyze sales data and market trends to inform future strategies.

6. Contract Negotiation & Deal Closure:

o Lead high-level negotiations with key clients to secure profitable contracts and

partnerships.

o Ensure that sales proposals and contracts are aligned with company policies and

legal requirements.

o Oversee the deal-closing process, ensuring the seamless transition from sales to

delivery teams.


7. Market Research & Competitor Analysis:

o Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, customer preferences,

and competitor activity.

o Use market intelligence to adapt sales strategies and maintain the company’s

competitive edge.

o Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams based on client

needs and market trends.

8. Cross-Department Collaboration:

o Work closely with marketing, operations, finance, and product development teams

to ensure alignment of sales initiatives.

o Collaborate with the finance team to set pricing strategies and monitor profitability.

o Ensure that all departments work together to deliver a seamless customer

experience.


Qualifications:

 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field. An MBA or

advanced degree is a plus.

 Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a

leadership role.

 Skills:

o Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.


o Strong leadership and team management skills.

o Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

o Proficiency in CRM systems and sales performance management tools.

o Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
