Business Development Representative - Digital Transformation (2-4 Years Experience)

The Opportunity:

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll be the driving force behind our lead conversion success across markets, transforming raw leads from India, the Middle East & Africa, and ASEAN into qualified opportunities ready for our regional sales teams. You'll own the first 20% of the sales cycle, actively qualifying leads, building relationships, and showcasing the value our digital transformation solutions bring. This is not just about prospecting; it's about becoming a trusted advisor, understanding client needs, and laying the groundwork for successful deal closure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead conversion: Proactively transform marketing-generated and self-sourced leads from India, the Middle East & Africa, and ASEAN into qualified opportunities through in-depth conversations, understanding pain points, and identifying budget fit.
  • Regional focus: Based on your experience and expertise, you will be assigned a specific region (India, Middle East & Africa, or ASEAN) to focus your efforts on, tailoring your outreach and communication to suit the regional market dynamics.
  • Opportunity qualification: Assess leads against rigorous criteria, evaluating potential, fit, and sales readiness to move them further down the regional sales funnel.
  • Client engagement: Build trusting relationships with potential clients across diverse markets, acting as a knowledgeable advisor and actively addressing their concerns and questions in a culturally sensitive manner.
  • Solution presentation: Tailor presentations and discussions to highlight how our services address specific regional challenges and showcase the value proposition relevant to each market.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and regional sales teams to ensure seamless lead handoff and contribute to effective solution delivery.
  • Opportunity ownership: Manage your pipeline of leads and opportunities from initial contact to 20% of the regional sales cycle, including data entry and updates within our CRM system.
  • Data analysis and reporting: Track key metrics, analyze lead and opportunity data, and identify trends to optimize outreach and qualification strategies for your assigned region.

Your Ideal Profile:

  • 2-4 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the technology or digital transformation industry, ideally with experience in one or more of the following regions: India, Middle East & Africa, or ASEAN.
  • Proven track record of exceeding lead conversion and qualification targets in your chosen region(s).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and adapt to cultural nuances.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, adept at juggling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and data analysis tools.
  • Passion for technology and a keen understanding of digital transformation trends relevant to your assigned region(s).
  • A results-oriented mindset with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders across different cultures.
  • Confidence in taking ownership of leads and managing the initial stages of the regional sales cycle.
