The Business Development Manager / Assistant Sales Manager will be responsible for driving growth and expanding the market presence of our recycled products. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, building relationships with key clients, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a passion for sustainability and a deep understanding of the recycled products sector.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s market presence.

- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business growth objectives.

- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the recycled products industry.

- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.

2. Sales Management:

- Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.

- Collaborate with the sales team to set and achieve sales goals, provide training, and support professional development.

- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, preparing regular reports for senior management.

3. Product Knowledge & Promotion:

- Gain and maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s recycled products and their benefits.

- Educate potential clients on the advantages of recycled products and sustainability practices.

- Develop marketing materials and promotional strategies to effectively communicate product value propositions.


4. Customer Relationship Management:

- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and resolving any issues that arise.

- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

- Gather feedback from clients to drive continuous improvement in products and services.


5. Strategic Partnerships:

- Identify and establish strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance business opportunities.

- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote our products.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field.

- Proven experience in business development, sales management, or a related role, preferably within the recycled products or sustainability sector.

- Strong understanding of recycled products, sustainability trends, and environmental regulations.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented approach.
