Position Overview:

We are embarking on an exciting journey to establish a state-of-the-art first-ever Li-ion Cell Gigafactory in India, and we are currently seeking a talented Production Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Production Process Engineer at our Gigafactory, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our cutting-edge manufacturing processes. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Quality, and Maintenance, you will ensure the seamless operation of our production lines. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying areas for process improvement, implementing solutions, and promoting overall operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process Optimization: Analyze and evaluate our advanced manufacturing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement in efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
  2. Continuous Improvement: Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to drive ongoing process enhancements, pushing the boundaries of operational excellence.
  3. Data Analysis: Collect andanalyzee production data, using data-driven insights to optimize processes and ensure seamless production.
  4. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to maintain the highest standards of product quality, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Equipment Maintenance: Work closely with the Maintenance team to develop and execute preventive maintenance plans, minimizing equipment downtime.
  6. Sustainability Initiatives: Champion initiatives to reduce waste, energy consumption, and environmental impact within the manufacturing process, contributing to our commitment to sustainability.
  7. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of process changes, standard operating procedures, and best practices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  8. Training: Provide training and support to Operations teams, ensuring the effective implementation and sustainability of new processes.


Qualifications:


➢ Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

➢ At least 5 years of proven experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.

➢ Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data for process improvements.

➢ Familiarity with process simulation and modeling software is advantageous.

➢ Knowledge of quality management systems and best practices.

➢ Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

➢ Effective communication and teamwork skills.

➢ Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

➢ Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles is a plus.
