Our mission is to provide transparency, service excellence, and seamless fund traceability, offering MSMEs the financial tools they need to thrive in the global economy. We are now seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to help expand our client base and drive growth through direct sales and strategic partnerships.


Key Responsibilities:


• Client Acquisition: Identify and acquire new MSME clients for the platform, focusing on businesses engaged in cross-border trade.

• Partnership Development: Build and nurture strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, fintech platforms, and other key stakeholders to expand the platform’s reach.

• Direct Sales: Lead direct sales efforts, including lead generation, client meetings, product demonstrations, and closing deals with international payment and trade finance clients.

• Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify potential growth areas and target sectors for client acquisition..

• Collaboration: Work closely with product and marketing teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs and enhance market penetration.

• Reporting: Regularly update senior management on progress, including reporting on sales activities, pipeline status, and market opportunities.


Requirements:


• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition in the fintech sector, specifically involving international payments and trade finance.

• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of cross-border payments, remittances, and trade finance solutions, particularly for MSMEs.

• Proven Track Record: Demonstrable success in client acquisition, partnership building, and meeting/exceeding sales targets.

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers at various levels.

• Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-driven, proactive, and motivated to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess market opportunities and craft effective strategies.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
