We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our sales and business development department, you will be responsible for driving growth, identifying new business opportunities, and building lasting relationships with local and international clients. You will take the lead in business development efforts and play an instrumental role in shaping our agency's expansion strategy. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead business development activities while contributing to the continued success of our agency.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Acquisition:

  • Identify and target potential local and international brands, with a focus on growth and expansion.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients, ensuring continuous new business development opportunities.
  • Proactively generate leads through cold calls, emails, networking events, and other channels to engage potential clients.
  • Develop a comprehensive business development strategy with clear financial goals and objectives.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase ALÓ's services and value proposition.

Client Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their digital marketing needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert solutions and guiding them through our services.
  • Meet clients in person for business development purposes, including discussions on potential new opportunities, relationship-building, and strengthening partnerships.

Proposal and Pitching:

  • Lead the preparation and presentation of persuasive proposals and pitches to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create customized, impactful solutions that address specific client needs.
  • Drive negotiations, close deals, and secure long-term contracts with new clients.

Market Intelligence:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to leverage insights for strategic business development.
  • Apply market intelligence to refine client engagement strategies and keep our offerings competitive.

Sales Reporting and Revenue Targets:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, and business development efforts.
  • Aim to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets as set by the agency
  • Gather data-driven insights to refine business development strategies and maximize conversion rates.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, progress against targets, and market insights to the leadership team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, in the digital marketing industry.
  • Experience in a digital marketing agency is a must, with exposure to both local and international markets.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving new business growth.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both in English and local languages.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Results-driven, with a passion for digital marketing and business development.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to take charge of the business development process to achieve strategic goals.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools, with an analytical approach to managing sales pipelines and tracking performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
