Tasks

YOURRESPONSIBILITIES

The main purposeof the role Teamlead Data Center Services is to manage theOperations team on site and to support & deputize theCritical Facility Manager in case of absence. The duties alsoinclude the creation of shift schedules holiday plans trainingplans and the induction of new employees. Of course the other tasksinclude the activities of the technicians in the variousareas.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Managethe Operations team (day shift technicians) and assure a properservice delivery on site
  • Deputize the CriticalFacility Manager and fill in during his absence and provideleadership to the teams
  • Ensure contracts arestaffed by fully competent teams ensuring post holders are fullycompetent and that effective succession planning arrangements arein place.
  • Ensure that contractual commitmentsare met and exceeded
  • Ensure the provision ofhealthy and safe working conditions and that both clients andCompany health and safety policy and process are effectivelyimplemented across both our teams services and subcontractorsactivities and are regularly reviewed
  • Ensureappropriate control systems to ensure statutory policy andcontractual commitments are met
  • Ensuring acustomer focus within all areas of operational activities and thateffective relationships are maintained with key clientcontacts
  • Provision of leadership and guidanceadvice coaching and direct support where required to deliver bestpractice selection training assessment andrecognition/reward
  • Delivering effectivebusiness communication through advice review leadership and directcontribution to management and team meetings briefings consultationforums correspondence publicity monthly and adhoc reporting andother publications asappropriate
Requirements

YOURQUALIFICATIONS

  • Proventrack record in a management role which has included responsibilityfor service culture people and businessgrowth
  • Previous experience in CriticalEnvironments and/or Data Centres
  • Dealing with arange of people from junior to senior level including siteemployees suppliers and customers
  • Worked withina matrix organisation
  • Commercial awareness /Business acumen
  • Ability to understandcommercial and financial metrics
  • Internal andexternal client management
  • Industry knowledgein critical environment and/or data centre environments and one ormore of the following: M&E facilities management projectsbuilding services
  • Excellent presentation skillswritten verbal and presentation
  • Highlydeveloped interpersonal and communicationskills
  • Enthused by a fast paced high growthenvironment
  • Demonstrates executivepresence
  • High degree of integrity andsincerity
  • Highly motivated andselfaware
