MEP Head JD
MEPHead has to identify problems in the design planning manage anddelivering multipleprojects.
MEP Head has to manage to oversee the work ofsubordinates
MEP Head has to prepare plans details specified and cost estimatedof plumbing heating ventilating air conditioning and general pipingsystem.
MEP Head has to provide technical advice to staff designersupervisor and contracting service provider regarding installationand maintenance of MEPSystem.
MEP System has to analyze mechanical Electrical and PlumbingHeading problems and formulatesolutions.
MEP Head has to plan organize the review and evaluate the work ofconsultants contractors and others. MEP Head knows MS OfficeAutoCAD MEP Head has toprepare and deliver effective oral presentations wheneverrequired.
Advise the Project Head of any technical aspects of the mechanicalservices that may affect construction progress e.g. quality orsnag.
Manage the daytoday work of the MEPteam.
In conjunction with the document controller ensure that thefiling/logging of the MEP documentation is undertaken in line withthe project handbook and continually monitor thesame.
Review Contractor s shop drawings against the design drawings forcompliance with the design intent and return to Project Head withappropriate comments/approval within the specified period
Where required prepare technical clarifications to the tendereddesign to suit specific onsite construction and coordinationissues.
Review Contractor s proposed subcontractor(s) associated with theHeading works from a technicalstandpoint.
Be available to undertake offsite inspections of proposed equipmentand materials as may be deemed necessary by the ProjectManager.
Review and comment on the Contractor s testing and commissioningresults and advise the Project Headaccordingly.
Attend project site progress and any mechanical servicesrelatedtechnical meetings directed by the projectmanager.
Provide advice to the Project Director regarding any mechanicalservices related to variable costs that the Contractor may claimduring theworks.
Review and comment on the Contractor s Operation and Maintenancemanuals.
Ideallyfrom Electric Design Firms or Contractingcompanies.
