Sr Product Manager, Customer Trust, Amazon IES Payments

As a Product Manager, you will partner cross-functionally to develop solutions that improve visibility and reduce the Cost of Business Waste (COBW) in the payments space. This high-visibility role directly contributes to Amazon Pay's bottom-line improvement.
We seek an individual with strong data skills, including knowledge of classification/regression models, SQL querying, and the ability to collaborate with data scientists to build predictive solutions. You must also demonstrate sound judgment in balancing customer experience with financial impact. This role involves a steep learning curve and requires developing strong business acumen.
Key job responsibilities
As a Product Manager in the Amazon Pay Customer Trust team, your key responsibilities will be to:
- Define and manage programs to protect Amazon Pay from costly business waste. Socialize the vision with senior leaders through PR/FAQs and author business requirements to convert the vision into a technical solution
- Analyze key business performance metrics, identify gaps, and define measurement frameworks to surface actionable insights
- Partner with operations, analytics, and category owners to learn from new tactics used by bad actors, then influence product roadmaps to systematically mitigate these waste sources
- Develop strategies to uncover hidden sources of waste, build solutions to address them, thereby enabling payment businesses to scale without fear of waste.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
