The position

As a Market Access Manager, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with critical functional areas (Marketing, Clinical Development, Medical & Regulatory Affairs (CMR), and Sales) to drive aligned actions and tactics for local Therapy Access.
  • Play a key role in new launches to shape the market for Therapy access.
  • Plan account-based strategies and ensure budget for therapy areas.
  • Identify new opportunities and value projects to improve overall product presence in accounts.
  • Manage national key accounts like ESI, Railway, Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS), & Army.
  • Coordinate with Sales Managers & Key Account Managers (KAMs) for product inclusion in state tenders.
  • Provide feedback on tender/accounts status to the head at regular intervals.
  • Serve as a knowledge house for Therapy Access and a point of contact for Global materials on our products.
  • Train KAMs on account management in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and P&O.
  • Support institution teams in filing tenders by providing up-to-date information and documentation.
  • Act as the primary contact for the sales team to support day-to-day accounts-related documentation work for drug inclusion.

 

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Any Graduate preferably from Life Science background.
  • 7-10 years of experience with a strong background in market access strategy within the life sciences sector.
  • Demonstrates experience in creating and executing comprehensive market access strategies.
  • Has expertise in pricing and reimbursement, health technology assessment (HTA), and health economic modeling.
  • Can communicate the unique attributes of therapeutic area drugs/medical devices to external multi-stakeholders.
  • Has experience working with payers, HTA, reimbursement influencers, and other decision-makers.
  • Is skilled in developing strategic studies to favorably impact pricing, reimbursement, and market access.
  • Has a proven track record in field market access work, including developing and implementing reimbursement strategies.
  • Possesses strong collaboration and partnership skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Is innovative and can drive new approaches within the evolving market access discipline.

The Therapy Access & Advocacy team is a dynamic and fast-paced department within Novo Nordisk.
