Retail Sales Manager

PositionOverview: As a Retail Sales Executive specializingin FMCG you will be responsible for driving sales and maximizingrevenue within our retail channels. You will play a key role inbuilding and maintaining relationships with retailers distributorsand other stakeholders in the FMCG sector ensuring that ourproducts are prominently featured and effectively promoted toconsumers.
KeyResponsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with retail partners includingsupermarkets convenience stores and specialty retailers to drivesales and increase market penetration.
Executesales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives withinassigned territories or accounts.
Conductregular visits to retail outlets to assess product availabilityvisibility and merchandising standards. Coordinate withdistributors and wholesalers to ensure timely delivery andreplenishment of products to retail stores.
Train retail staff on product features benefits and sellingtechniques to enhance product knowledge and drivesales.
Monitor competitor activity and markettrends providing insights and recommendations to management forstrategic decisionmaking.
Collaborate withmarketing teams to execute promotional campaigns product launchesand instore activations to drive consumer engagement andsales.
Prepare and analyze sales reports marketdata and performance metrics to track progress and identifyopportunities for growth.
Represent the companyat industry events trade shows and customer meetings to promote ourbrand and build relationships with keystakeholders.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelorsdegree in business administration marketing or a related fieldpreferred.
A minimum of 35 years of experiencein retail sales preferably within the FMCGindustry.
Proven track record of success indriving sales growth and building relationships with retailpartners.
Strong understanding of retailoperations including merchandising inventory management andpromotional activities.
Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport andinfluence decisionmakers.
A resultsorientedmindset with a passion for achieving targets and deliveringresults.
Ability to work independently andcollaboratively in a fastpaced dynamicenvironment.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Officesuite (Word Excel and PowerPoint) and familiarity with salestracking software or CRM systems.
