Assistant Purchase Executive

Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Coordination: Assistthe Purchase Manager in planning and executing procurementstrategies to meet the organizations needs. Collaborate withvarious departments toidentify
  • purchasing requirements anddevelop appropriate procurementplans.
  • Vendor Management: Sourceevaluate and maintain relationships with suppliers andvendors.
  • Obtain and compare quotesnegotiate prices and terms of agreements to secure the best valuefor the organization.
  • Purchase Order Processing: Createand process purchase orders accurately and in a timelymanner.
  • Ensure that purchase orders areproperly documented and approved according to companypolicies.
  • Inventory Management: Monitorinventory levels and assist in inventory control to avoid shortagesand overstock situations. Coordinate with the warehouse andlogistics team to ensure smooth and efficient stockmanagement.
  • Quality Control: Work closelywith the Quality Assurance team to ensure that purchased goods andservices meet the required quality standards. Address anyqualityrelated issues with supplierspromptly.
  • Cost Optimization: Continuouslyseek opportunities to optimize costs and improvepurchasing
  • processes. Implement costsavinginitiatives while maintaining the quality of products andservices.
Requirements:
  • Provenexperience in a purchasing or procurement role preferably in theindustry/sector.
  • Solid understanding ofprocurement processes vendor management and supply chainconcepts.
  • Pro ciency in using procurementsoftware and tools is a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation andcommunication skills with the ability to build strong relationshipswith suppliers and internalstakeholders.
  • Strong analytical andproblemsolving abilities with keen attention todetail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks andmanage time effectively in a fastpacedenvironment.
  • Knowledge of relevant industryregulations and compliancestandards.
  • Familiarity with inventorymanagement principles.
  • High level of integrity andethical conduct in all purchasingactivities.
  • BTech Mechanical/ ElectricalBachelors degree in Business Administration and Supply ChainManagement.
