This is a fulltime onsite role for aProcurement Executive located in Mumbai. The Procurement Executivewill be responsible for managing purchasing processes handlingpurchase orders and overseeing purchase management. Additionallystrong analytical skills and effective communication will beessential in thisrole.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the procurement processwith H.O by generating Forecast Purchase order and validatingprocess requirements as per ODOOprocess.
  • Imputing and maintaining data inprocurement related ODOO processes andapplications.
  • Develop and recommend specificlocal sourcing scenarios based on spend analysis findings extensiveknowledge of the relevant local supplymarkets.
  • Coordinating with suppliers fornecessary shipment documents prior to shipping to ensure smoothclearance.
  • Coordinating and liaising withfreight forwarders and clearing agents.
  • Supportthe procurement manager to determine price forecasts for budgetcycles.
  • Monitor customer (internal) and vendor(external) compliance with procurement principles and practiceswithin the assigned categorygroup(s).
  • Negotiates and reviews longtermcontracts with local suppliers to ensure optimum cost and reliablesupply.
  • To source and onboard potential newsuppliers where required and to follow correct procedures anddocumentation when engaging suppliers.
  • Ensurethat all assigned supplier contracts are uptodate and thatelectronic and paper copies are storedappropriately.
  • Control and monitor expensesagainst approved budgets.
  • Develop sourcingstrategies.
  • Cost saving budgeting andtargeting.
  • Set and plan how to achieve supplieraccreditation and service levelmanagement.
  • Payment terms: negotiationoptimization and management
  • Maintain contractswith vendors.
  • Review inventory and update asrequired.
  • Initiate and keep track oforders.
  • Receive inspect and distributeorders.
  • Reconcile or resolve orderdiscrepancies from suppliers with H.O.
  • Monitorand update shipment schedule to ensure they are ontime.
  • Maintain good relationships with localsuppliers and renegotiate prices on a regularbasis.
  • Annual asset stocktake.
  • Administration and reporting asnecessary.
