JobDescription:
Proactively execute the pricing process from rate sourcing up tosharing multiple options to Sales. Once theshipment is confirmed coordinate with the relevant agent/ shippingline and ensure the best rates and send a routingorder. Receive inquiries confirm detailswith Sales/ CS. Communicate with agents/ shipping lines to sourcethe best rates. Use contacts effectively tosource the best rate in the market. SendMultiple rate options to Sales/ CS.

Forexport shipments:
Coordinate with relevant multiple serviceproviders locally and ensure to source the best competitive ratesin the market. For DDU/ EXW shipments need to source rates frommultiple agents at the destination as well.

For import & crosstrade shipments:

Coordinate with multipleagents in the country of shipment origin and ensure to source thebest competitive rates in the market.

For DDU/ EXW shipments needto source rates from multiple agents at the destination aswell.

Respond to all sales inquiriesregarding the updated status of rates by email or phone in a timelymanner Proactively contact the Sales/ CS andprovide a clear and concise explanation of any delays in ratesourcing specifying the reason(s) for the delay and coordinate withSales/ CS on any additional informationneeded.

Follow up with Sales/ CS for thefeedback on each rate quoted. Negotiate withvendors once the target rate is received. Record the inquiries inthe daily report with updated status.

Relationship building with carriers:
Making strong relationshipsthat lead to quicker response time and betterrates. Efficiency in handling urgent casesof rate quotations.

Number ofSuppliers/Carriers:
Increasing the number ofcarriers we work with. Reducing dependencyon a single carrier.

Carrieravailability/efficiency rate:
Evaluatecarrier capacity to respond to urgent demands/responsetime. Evaluate the quality of theresponse.

Procurement cost reduction:
Costsavings with carrier negotiations. Betternegotiation with carriers. Internal teamcommunication efficiency to keep teams/management wellinformed. Space release fromcarriers.

Collecting data from potential/existing customers and other sources on competitor moves businesslost to competitors reasons and providing long term solutions tothese issues under guidance from President BusinessDevelopment.

Building strong relationshipswith the high value key accounts (existing /potential) in theregion to enhance the revenue potential in coordination with theteam.
