Job Description
Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and historical data to forecast demand and set pricing strategies. Utilize revenue management tools and systems to optimize room rates and inventory allocation. Prepare revenue reports and performance analysis for management review. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop promotional strategies and packages. Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost-saving initiatives. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as sales, marketing, and finance to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives. Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes. Participate in revenue meetings and contribute to discussions on pricing, distribution channels, and market positioning.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience in reservation management and revenue analysis within the hospitality industry. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in revenue management software and MS Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure. Attention to detail and a strategic mindset. Knowledge of hotel reservation systems (e.g., Opera) is preferred.
