OverviewAs a GuestService Representative you will play a crucial role in ensuring apositive and memorable experience for our guests. Yourresponsibilities will include providing excellent customer serviceaddressing guest inquiries and concerns and facilitating thecheckin and checkout processes. Attention to detail exceptionalcommunication skills and the ability to problemsolve effectivelyare essential for success in this role. You will collaborate withvarious teams to coordinate guest requests and ensure their needsare met contributing to the overall success and reputation of ourestablishment.Keyresponsibilities
  • Greet and welcomeguests upon arrival engaging with them in a professional andcourteous manner
  • Efficiently handle checkin andcheckout procedures ensuring accuracy andtimeliness
  • Respond to guest inquiries andprovide accurate information about the hotels services amenitiesand policies
  • Coordinate with housekeeping andmaintenance staff to fulfill guest requests and resolveissues
  • Maintain a professional and tidy lobbyand reception area
  • Process payments and handlecash and credit card transactions
  • Assist inmanaging reservations and room assignments to optimize occupancylevels
  • Handle phone calls reservations andcancellations with professionalism andefficiency
  • Provide personalized service andassistance to guests with special requests orneeds
  • Deliver room service orders andadditional amenities to guest rooms asneeded
  • Anticipate and address guest concernsand complaints in a timely and effectivemanner
  • Collaborate with other departments toensure seamless guest experiences
  • Upsell hotelservices and amenities to enhance the guest experience and increaserevenue
  • Adhere to all safety and securityprocedures to maintain a safe environment for guests andstaff
  • Assist in maintaining accurate recordsand documentation related to guest interactions andtransactions
Requiredqualifications
  • High school diploma orequivalent; degree in Hospitality or related field is aplus
  • Proven experience in a customer servicerole preferably in a hotel or hospitalitysetting
  • Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills
  • Ability to multitask andprioritize tasks effectively in a fastpacedenvironment
  • Strong problemsolving abilities anda proactive approach to guestsatisfaction
  • Proficiency in using reservationand hotel management software isadvantageous
  • Basic math skills and the abilityto handle financial transactionsaccurately
  • Positive and engaging personalitywith a passion for delivering exceptionalservice
  • Flexibility to work various shiftsincluding weekends and holidays
  • Attention todetail and the ability to maintain a professional appearance at alltimes
  • Understanding of hotel operations and theability to provide valuable recommendations toguests
  • Ability to work collaboratively in ateam environment and adapt to changingneeds
  • Knowledge of local attractions and pointsof interest to assist guests withrecommendations
