ExperienceRequired /Requirements:Total Years of Experience Required: 18 20 years with a minimum of35 years of direct experience in a Corporate security leadershiprole. RelevantYears of Experience Required: 1518Years. Experienceand deep understanding of Risk Management and governance(compliance and audits) aredesirable. Priorexperience in the Manufacturing Industry (Metals Mining Oil andGas) role isdesirable.
Job Purpose:Thejob involves establishing & operating the entire securityfunction inside & the peripheral plant premises along withthe township with the incorporation of modern surveillance gadgetswith the aim of zeropilferage.
ACCOUNTABILITIESDevelop implement and maintain security processes practices andpolicies in the organization to reduce/mitigate security and otherrisks and ensure adequate response to incidents andevents. Ensurecontinuous monitoring review and reporting of security risks basedon the effectiveness of controls to reduce exposure to the companyand businessoperations. Developand maintain strong relations with law enforcement agencies andother related governmentagencies. Ensurecompliance and security assurance through periodic reviews/audits& investigate security breaches fraud cases and otherincidents. Developan intelligence network across peripheral villages/areas in orderto get prior information with respect to any coercive action by anyinsurgent group.Technology driven surveillance/vigilance system as a step furtherfor processimprovement. Managesecurity operations and coordinate security initiatives across thesite and area of responsibility as defined by themanagement.Coordinate and implement site security measures for the protectionof company assets.Support risk assessments and ensure proper risk management byimplementation of appropriate controls and theireffectiveness.Undertake research and evaluation of technology solutions forinnovative securitysolutions. Driveand support intelligence and vigilance functions in support ofsecurityobjectives.Effectively engage with and communicate across all levels oforganization including briefing executive management on securityissues. Lead trainand guide the security team design develop and implement securitymanuals processes and systems to achieve effective security aroundthe plant to ensure the security of men materials and equipment toachieve the organizations businessgoal. Manage theresource requirements (direct & indirect security staff)and collaborate with the vendors to ensure the implementation ofcontracts monitor the quality of service and resolve complaints andgrievances ofstakeholders.Ensure effective implementation of security systems deployment ofresources and training of securitystaff.
FunctionalSkills Familiarwith Security Risk Assessment and Risk Managementtenets. Intimateknowledge of ISO 31000 COSO framework other management frameworksCompanies Act 2013etc. Knowledge ofthe various risk assessment methodologies being effectively usedworldwide Abilityto engage with multiple stakeholders and marshalconsensus Abilityto steer and monitor projects provide support and accomplish valuedelivery Excellentcommunication skills verbal written andspoken Ability toundertake training and education of target audience for riskmanagementKnowledge of modern security equipment deployment andmonitoring.
