Summary
TheVice President Brand Marketing / CMO is a customer centric leaderthat will serve as the gatekeeper of the brand voice positioningand strategy. This individual will be responsible for building outthe strategic marketing plan along with the developmentcoordination implementation and execution of all marketingactivities across digital and retail channels. Works in conjunctionwith other senior leadership to ensure coordination and mutualeffectiveness of all marketing efforts. Leads team of marketingprofessionals to develop effective marketing programs designed tocreate brand awareness customer acquisition retention and loyalty.This individual must also be able to operate autonomously with theability and desire to not only drive high level strategy but get inthe weeds and execute.
JobResponsibilities
Responsible forbuilding the marketing strategy marketing content calendar andintegrated marketing campaigns.
Ideate and execute brandstorytelling campaigns product campaigns and ambassador/influencermarketing that come to life via all channels (i.e. website onlineblog social feeds email pr and digital marketing touchpoints).
Partner closely with the directtoconsumer andeCommerce team to test and learn what creative content performsbest across paid media channels to optimize performance.
Oversee all production activities for the brand and tacticalcampaigns as the key relationship holder for agency partners toensure there is consistency in brand voice andmessaging.
Manage a dedicated team of employeesresponsible for creative development of marketing programs toincrease the store walkins support the website email social paidmedia retail and events.
Establish a strong socialpresence to drive the rapid growth of followers that also exhibit ahigh level of engagement with the brand weaving in influencer andambassador content and partnerships.
Collaborate andlead across the organization. Fulfill a leadership role inconjunction with Merchandising Business Development Product &eCommerce teams and any other internal departments as appropriatein coordination of marketing activities.
Responsible fordeveloping annual marketing budgets and prioritizing spend tosupport growth in store footfalls content creation and channelneeds.
This is a senior role and this individual must becapable of leading and influencing brand initiatives and be able tocommunicate effectively with senior leadership.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE :
Bachelors degree witha Masters in Marketing required.
Retail brand/productmarketing experience a plus
12 to 15 years of relevantbrand/content experience
Experience in influencermarketing and content strategy with a proven track record ofhitting targets and influencer program processimplementation
Experience leading or overseeing a brandcreative team
Demonstrated record of success
A strong desire to build a network of other greatpractitioners
Expert understanding of how to build andexecute integrated digital marketing strategies for brand and salesgrowth
Comprehensive ability to effectively workdirectly with external marketing agencies distribution partners andcustomers
Advanced leadership capability with theability to train mentor and coach associates
Advancedproject management capability
Ability to originate andfoster creative process from ideation to implementation
Ability to manage budgets and media plans and to meet deadlines ina dynamic and changing environment.
