- Facilitates the functioning of and /or oversees the functioning of Guest Service deparment (FrontOffice and F&BService)
KeyResponsibilities:
PeopleManagement
- Respondto customer queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficientmanner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensureto attend to guest complaints requests or inquiries regarding thefood and services.
- Establish and maintainseamless coordination & cooperation with all departments ofibis Mumbai Vikhroli to ensure maximum cooperation productivitymorale and guestservice.
FinancialManagement
- Identifyoptimal cost effective use of the resources and educate the team onthesame.
OperationalManagement
- Responsiblefor set up of all operating equipments and ensure to inspect linenand condiments before the service.
- Ensure to befamiliar with all dishes on the menu.
- Ensureclearance of all soiled chinaware glassware silverware from theguest table and reset the table for the nextarrival
- In the absence of the Assistant ManagerGuest Service ensure to take guest orders advice guests on specialsmenu options maintain control of guest and hotel accounts ensuringthat all charges are accurate and posted on a timelybasis.
- Use every opportunity to promote hotelfacilities and maximize sales through sound product knowledge andselling skills.
- Ensure that all guest queriesinquiries and requests are attended to in a helpful professionalyet warm and friendly manner.
- Ensure to handlethe luggage in a courteous and efficientmanner.
- Control room inventory and assign roomper guest needs.
- Ensure to be familiar with theproperty lay out fire exits and elevatorlocations.
- Report any equipment malfunctionemergency situations or suspicious persons to the Guest ServiceManager.
- Ensure that breakage pilferage andspoilage are kept to a bareminimum.
