We are a digital product engineering company looking for an awesome Delivery Manager with a diverse technology background to help lead delivery of diverse cross-technical project teams. You should have a good understanding of cloud/mobile application development and lead a team of project managers/leads to oversee and improve delivery.
1. Project Planning and Management
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, making adjustments as needed to keep everything on track.
2. Client and Stakeholder Communication
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their requirements, managing expectations, and providing regular updates.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and produce reports for stakeholders, addressing any concerns and aligning on project direction.
3. Team Coordination and Leadership
  • Oversee and support cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, designers, and business analysts.
  • Motivate and guide team members to achieve project goals, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Resolve conflicts or roadblocks to maintain a productive team environment.
4. Quality Assurance and Risk Management
  • Ensure that projects meet quality standards and best practices in software development.
  • Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks to reduce potential issues impacting timelines or deliverables.
  • Facilitate code reviews, testing processes, and compliance with company and industry standards.
5. Budget and Resource Management
  • Track and manage project budgets, controlling costs without compromising on quality.
  • Allocate and optimize resources (time, personnel, and tools) across projects to maximize efficiency.
6. Continuous Improvement
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, implementing feedback loops and encouraging best practices within teams.
  • Analyze completed projects to identify lessons learned and implement improvements in processes and practices for future projects.
7. Documentation and Reporting
  • Ensure proper project documentation, including requirements, decisions, updates, and final deliverables.
  • Create and present project reports, metrics, and insights for internal and external stakeholders.
8. Customer Satisfaction and Relationship Management
  • Focus on client satisfaction by delivering projects on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
Key Skills for a Delivery Manager:
  • Project Management Skills: Knowledge of agile, Scrum, Kanban, and waterfall methodologies.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for managing client and team interactions.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to quickly address issues and maintain project momentum.
