Job Objective:
The role is responsible for leading the hiring charter for merchant payments organization. The role holder will have to develop & execute the Talent Acquisition strategy in close partnership with the leadership & HRBP team to ensure that the organization attracts, hires, and retains top talent effectively while contributing to long-term business success.
Role & team:
The role based in our HQ at Bengaluru will lead Hiring for merchant payments org which has a large base of sales employees across levels (7000+ on-roll & 13000+ contractual).
The role holder will have to lead a team of direct & indirect reports based across the country.
The role provides an excellent opportunity to learn and experience both traditional retail/FMCG & startup ways of working.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person with TA bent of mind to join our ambitious team and help us drive top talent to our company via innovative candidate attraction strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Planning: Develop and implement talent acquisition strategy in line with merchant payments org goals & objectives
- Process Management: oversee end-to-end recruitment process – job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews etc.
-Drive referral/campus hiring where required including communication/branding strategy across channels.
-Represent company internally and externally at events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities
-Proactively seek market intelligence/ latest industry trends to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment, and sourcing methodologies
-Have a strong bias for using data to solve problems, data analytics and reporting
-Data analysis & reporting: Utilize recruitment metrics & analytics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and report on key recruitment KPIs.
-Compliance & Diversity: Ensure compliance with legal & regulatory requirements in recruitment practices, while promoting diversity and inclusion within the hiring process.
- Generate monthly updates for company’s leadership about upcoming talent acquisition initiatives.
- Proactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment and sourcing methodologies
People Management Responsibilities
- Manage a large team of 10 - direct & indirect combined
- Lead & mentor a team of recruiters & coordinators – ensuring they have the right support & unblock problem statements for them to ensure successful delivery
- Ability to influence, manage and work collaboratively across teams/business and all levels of the organisation
- Experience of managing partners, suppliers and 3rd parties.
Capabilities & Requirements:
- MBA / Post Graduate degree in HR with 10+ years' experience in Talent Acquisition.
- Exposure to bulk hiring / sales hiring is mandatory.
- Exposure to start up environment is an added advantage.
- Experience sourcing from different channels – consultants, job portals, self-sourcing, referrals, etc.
- Understanding and hands on experience with Application tracking system(s).
- Up-date on evolving Talent Acquisition practices.
- Spikes on problem solving, influencing/building consensus, ownership & team mgmt.
